At True Light Family Worship Center, we believe that church is not simply a building. It is a living expression of God’s love, hope, and truth. Because of this, our mission is to welcome every person with compassion and teach the Word with clarity. We also strive to create an atmosphere where people encounter God in a real and transformative way.

The assignment God has given us is one we hold with deep humility. Shepherding a growing community is an honor that requires faith, purpose, and unity. Whether you are new to Houston or searching for a church home, our prayer is that you feel seen, supported, and strengthened here.

There is a place for you at True Light. We look forward to worshiping with you soon

Our Mission

What Anchors True Light

True Light Family Worship Center is an interdenominational church in Houston, made up of Holy-Spirit-filled, baptized believers.

As a church, we accept the Bible as the Word of God and Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. In addition, we recognize that the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit are active in the Church today. We preach the Gospel with signs and wonders that point to God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—our Allos Parakletos.

Our mission is to be a beacon of hope and love for our community. Ultimately, we strive to help people discover the life-changing power of faith in Jesus Christ. Everything we do remains grounded in Scripture and guided by the Holy Spirit.

Our Global Impact

Serving Beyond Our Sanctuary

The heart of True Light extends far beyond our sanctuary walls. We believe the Gospel is a global call that compels us to uplift, equip, and encourage believers across nations. Furthermore, through faithful relationships and prayer, True Light Family Worship Center supports international ministry efforts that strengthen the body of Christ and bring hope to communities around the world.

One of our most meaningful connections extends to a Christian ministry in Pakistan, where local believers gather with courage, faith, and a hunger for God’s Word. Moreover, this shared mission allows us to walk alongside them through prayer, teaching, and support, demonstrating the unity of God’s family across borders and cultures.

Overall, our global impact reflects obedience to God’s call and a commitment to serve wherever He leads. Whether locally or internationally, True Light remains dedicated to advancing the Gospel, strengthening the Church, and standing in faith with believers around the world.

Beliefs

What We Believe

True Light Family Worship Center is united by foundational biblical beliefs that guide our worship and teaching. These beliefs also shape our daily walk with God and inform how we live out our faith in every season of life.

Specifically, we believe in:

• The authority of the Bible as the inspired Word of God.
• Jesus Christ as Lord, Savior, and the only way to salvation.
• The Holy Spirit’s active work in empowering, gifting, and guiding believers today.
• The Church as a spiritual family called to love, serve, worship, and grow together.

Overall, these beliefs shape who we are and how we serve. In addition, they guide the way we carry God’s light into the world. Ultimately, they influence how we love one another and how we show up in our homes, workplaces, and communities.

Rooted in the Word

At True Light Family Worship Center, the Word of God is our foundation and our guide. Scripture shapes how we worship, how we lead, and how we grow together as a church family. In addition, God’s Word anchors our ministry and informs every service, every prayer, and every mission we undertake.

God’s Word provides direction, correction, and encouragement for daily living, leadership, and spiritual growth. Moreover, it equips believers to remain faithful, resilient, and grounded in truth as they navigate life’s challenges.

The verses below reflect the faith we carry forward as a church community that seeks to walk in obedience, endurance, and trust in God’s promises:

  • Acts 10:38 — “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power…”
  • Hebrews 12:1 — “Let us run with patience the race that is set before us…”
  • Deuteronomy 7:9 — “Know therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God…”
  • 3 John 2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health…”

We stand firmly on these truths as we worship, serve, and shine the light of Christ throughout our community and around the world.
